Jennifer Young

Jennifer Young

Jennifer Young began her career investigating incidents and assessing risk in high-hazard environments, first as an HSE Inspector and later in international roles with organisations including Shell and TNK-BP.

That structured, evidence-led approach now informs her work across organisations, clinical practice, specialist education and cancer-conscious skincare.

Current lead work

Ergonomics for the Mind

A structured method for understanding what affects how a person functions at work, the conditions most likely to support their best work, and what to do next.

Developed from Jennifer’s background in investigation, regulation and risk assessment, it brings greater structure to questions that organisations often leave individuals to explain and manage alone.

A consistent way of working

Jennifer’s work begins with the problem rather than a predetermined answer. She examines the wider context, identifies the factors that interact, distinguishes what matters from what does not and develops practical ways forward. That approach has been applied in regulation, organisational work, clinical assessment, professional education and product development.
